Thursday 24–Friday 25 April 2019
Modern Nature symposium
Hepworth Gallery, Wakefield
Two days of discussions and performances in response to the Hepworth’s brilliant Modern Nature photography exhibition, exploring the merging of urban and rural landscapes. On the Thursday I’m alongside Fay Musselwhite for a session convened by Longbarrow Press (4pm, tbc), while on the Friday I’m reading at the launch of the new issue of the Route 57 journal (late afternoon again), which is aligned to the themes of Modern Nature and includes a section of work created in direct response to a visit. Free entry, booking required.
